Terms
Important: these terms are drafted to protect the Licensor to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing on this page excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory guarantee, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
1. Who provides n8-m8
n8-m8 is published and licensed by its current publisher (the Licensor). n8-m8 is independent from n8n and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an official product of n8n GmbH.
2. Source-available, not open source
n8-m8 is source-available software. It is not OSI open source. Personal, homelab, educational, and non-commercial use may be free under the EULA. Commercial use requires an active commercial sponsor licence accepted by the Licensor.
3. Commercial sponsor licences
A commercial sponsor licence means an active paid sponsorship, membership, invoice, subscription, or written licence confirmation issued or accepted by the Licensor for the applicable tier.
n8-m8 uses honour-system licensing. The self-hosted software does not include licence activation, phone-home licence checks, licence telemetry, outbound licence audit beacons, or a remote kill switch. It sends the Licensor no automatic deployment or licence-state signal, so the Licensor cannot use n8-m8 to automatically discover a deployment or verify whether its licence is active. The absence of technical enforcement does not grant commercial-use rights.
If a sponsorship, membership, subscription, invoice, or payment fails, expires, is cancelled, or is refunded, commercial-use rights end immediately unless the Licensor agrees otherwise in writing.
4. Sponsorship is not a pure donation where benefits are supplied
Business sponsorships that include commercial-use rights, sponsor acknowledgements, membership access, or other benefits are commercial payments for those benefits, not pure gifts. Prices are shown in USD unless the payment page says otherwise.
5. No support, SLA, hosted service, or professional advice by default
No tier includes guaranteed support, response times, uptime commitments, deployment services, hosting, consulting, managed services, professional advice, maintenance, or security monitoring unless expressly agreed in a separate written agreement signed or accepted by the Licensor.
6. Website and marketing information
Website content is general product information only. It is not legal, compliance, security, operational, or professional advice. Product descriptions are not guarantees that n8-m8 will detect every issue or suit your environment.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject to any non-excludable rights, the Licensor excludes all liability arising from or related to the website, sponsorships, the software, use or inability to use n8-m8, missed alerts, false alerts, data exposure, security incidents, downtime, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption, or costs of substitute goods or services.
Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, the Licensor limits its liability to the maximum extent permitted by law, including resupply or cost of resupply where that is the applicable Australian Consumer Law remedy. For all other claims, liability is capped as stated in the EULA, including the total amount paid to the Licensor for n8-m8 commercial-use rights in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any mandatory laws and non-excludable rights that apply.
